Another Viagra Theft
In yet another case of Viagra theft a jury has charged a man who was accused with the theft of the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra from the Andrews Air Force Base in the United States. In this instance a 47 year old man was specifically charged with the theft of government property and the counsel for the prosecution claimed that he pilfered over 15 bottles that each had 100 pills in each from a warehouse that contained a pharmacy at the Air Force base.
Overall the estimate is that the value of the missing drugs is around 12,000 dollars and the man if convicted could get a 10 year jail sentence as well as a 360,000 dollar fine. The vast quantities of Viagra stolen indicates that the drug was not intended for his personal use and that he was selling the erectile dysfunction drugs to third parties.
Ukmedix has come across hundreds of stories of Viagra theft in all parts of the world. It appears that some men are desperate and rather than go to a GP and get a prescription they would rather risk a jail sentence and the humiliation of being hauled infront of a judge or jury than get the drug legally. Other people realise the benefits of being able to sell the drug on the black market and thus it is a target for thieves far more than most health drugs.
Cialis and Levitra have also been the target of thieves but Viagra still remains the best drug to steal for them as it is so well known and every single man in the world will have heard of it at sometime and men are more likely to purchase something they have heard of then some drug that they don't know about. Ukmedix advises men to never buy drugs on the black market whether the claim to be genuine or not as they could be dangerous and do more harm than good.
