Canadian Veterans Given Free Viagra
Canadian war veterans have been receiving free Viagra paid for by the state over the last six years and the cost of doing this is slowly rising. In fact the latest figures show that in Ottawa alone 600,000 Canadian dollars were spent on the veteran' Viagra.
Over the last six years government officials have added the erectile dysfunction drug to the register of medications given free to all military veterans, however the veterans are limited to just two blue pills monthly. The popularity of the Viagra is underlined by the fact that over two thousand men have signed up for it in Ottawa alone.
The war veterans say that getting the drug is important for them to reclaim their manhood and it enables them and their wives to have a satisfactory sex life. The War Amps group that represents the veterans worked hard for the Viagra to be put on the list saying that the men whio served in Canada's armed forces deserve to be given the drug free. Some other veterans argue that many of them have younger wives and therefore they need to keep them happy and sometimes Viagra is the only thing that will enable the men to satisfy them properly.
The free Viagra program registers all the participants and recently it was noted that the average age of the veterans using the Viagra was 77.4 years old. The veterans are lucky in Canada as not all countries share the same ideas as to whether Viagra should be given out free to veterans and some countries view it as a recreational drug and only allow it to be given out free in very serious impotence cases.
