Chinese Criminal Selling Fake Viagra Arrested

20 December 2006 (Wednesday)

The dangers of buying fake erectile dysfunction drugs have recently been highlighted yet again in China where the police and health authorities have just shut down a factory that was making fake Viagra tablets as well as fake birth control pills. The pills were found to have contained only starch and glucose. The people who run these industries are hardened criminals who have no regard for the safety and health of any of the people who use their products and the Chinese government is determined to crack down on them.

They arrested only one man in their recent raid in the island of Hainan where the factory is located and having tested all the drugs they not only realised that both fake Viagra and the fake birth control pills were of no use but that they were even toxic. The police think that they have arrested the main suspect and will be charging him soon. It is difficult to quantify the problem but the health authorities in China feel that these fake drugs have killed many people in China and they want to tighten up medical standards and ethics.

The factories even go as far as to produce fake rabies vaccines and other drugs that clearly put people’s lives in danger. Many of these fake drugs especially the impotence ones are sold online all over the world and many people have no idea that they are dealing with Chinese criminals when the put their credit card details into the computer.

At Ukmedix we are keen to highlight the dangers of buying prescription medicines without a prescription and warn that you are putting your health in great danger if you are not scrupulously careful when buying online. At Ukmedix an online consultation is always available and prescriptions are always issued before impotence drugs are dispatched.
