Erection Hardness Score Promoted In Asia

26 April 2007 (Thursday)

According to the world’s biggest drug company namely Pfizer who make the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, around one man in five in Asia is suffering from erectile dysfunction.  Pfizer released this information which they gathered after extensive surveys, at a launch of new diagnostic kits that are designed to help men evaluate their erectile dysfunction problem and also to get help for it.

The new erectile dysfunction diagnostic kit helps men to self diagnose their erectile dysfunction. Because erectile dysfunction is such an embarrassing problem for many men, it is extremely hard for them to come clean with their doctors about exactly how hard and how frequent their erections are and that is why Pfizer came up with the idea of a kit to enable men to work out the degree of their own erectile dysfunction.

Pfizer came up with the concept of an Erection Hardness Score (EHS) which would grade the hardness of a man’s erect penis from one to four. A score of four would mean that you did not have any erectile dysfunction in any way and a score of one would mean that you were experiencing very severe erectile dysfunction. Armed with your EHS score, the next step is to talk to your doctor without having to go into too much detail other then give your EHS score.

Pfizer are promoting this new Erection Hardness Score all over Asia as men there are especially embarrassed about speaking to their doctors about erectile dysfunction and this could help them come forward to sort out the problem. The challenges for the makers of erectile dysfunction medication is encouraging men to come forward and get medication for their problem as many men just learn to live with erectile dysfunction and do not wish to deal with the issue at all for fear of embarrassment and humiliation.
