Fake Viagra Found In Brunei
Authorities from the Ministry of Health in Brunei released a statement to warn the general public about the illegal sales of two seperate medications that have dangerous substances in them. In the statement, the two medications mentioned were Trebest Plus Capsules and Han Palace Capsules which are widely sold with claims that they boost men's energy health, virility and are generally beneficial to health. However following tests done by the relevant authorities it was found that the pills contained a derivative of sildenafil the famous compound that is the key ingredient in the eretile dysfunction medication Viagra.
Sildenafil is only licenced for use in Viagra and incorrect doses and administering of the substance as well as being illegal can be very dangerous and harmful to health. Drug Control Authorities of Asian countries have recently been swapping information on these dillegal drugs to try to curb the growing problem of illegal drugs, most of which are for erectile dysfunction.
The sildenafil found in Viagra must be taken with great care as it can interact with nitrates and other medicines causing dangerously low and potentially fatal levels of blood pressure. The Brunei Ministry of Health is advising anyone who has the product to inform them immediately and to hand in the medicines. The statement also included information to the effect that it is a punishable offence according to law to trade in compounds that are not licensed by the Drug Authority and that fines and a prison sentence may ensue as a result.
