Fake Viagra Warning
Ukmedix has learnt of yet another illegal version of Viagra for sale. The health authorities in Canada are reporting that they have tested a product called Nasutra that is said to be a traditional Chinese remedy for sexual function and found that it contains the active ingredient found in Viagra namely sildenafil citrate. The packaging of Nasutra make no reference to the sildenafil citrate and this makes the product potentially very dangerous.
Pfizer the makers of Viagra have a patent on sildenafil citrate for use in erectile dysfunction medication and it only has licence to be sold in most countries with a prescription. Viagra should only be taken with a consultation from your doctor and must be taken with care as it can interact with nitrates and other heart medication which could be potentially fatal for those in a risk zone of heart attacks and strokes. Viagra can also cause rare side effects like sight loss and urinary tract infections and so doctors advice should always be sought before use.
Nasutra does not have a licence to be sold in Canada or in New Zealand where the health authorities have also picked it up and it seems to be mainly sold in countries where the health regualtions are lacking or by unscrupulous internet vendors and spammers. People who have used the product or now of anyone who has it should immediately makes arrangements to dispose of it before it causes harm.
Viagra is one of the world's most imitated and illegally produced drugs and Ukmedix can not emphasise enough the important of making sure that you only buy the original and genuine medication from a reputable pharmacy.
