Free Viagra On Offer....Conditions Apply
Interested in getting free Viagra? Well there is a way, as the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit USA is actively seeking volunteers to help it in a new ground breaking research project that is being funded by the federal government. There is a downside to getting the free Viagra though as you will be expected to be in Detroit and you will have had to have suffered from a stroke in recently. The study will not be looking at the erectile function of the volunteers but will be trying to determine whether the famous impotence drug can help people recover more quickly from the effects of a stroke.
The study will be specifically looking at men and women who have suffered from mild ischemic strokes, which are the most common types and which are usually the result of blocked arteries. Viagra is known to help open the blood flow to the penile artery and it is hoped that the use of the drug may help strokes suffers recover faster and completely. Funnily enough however the hospital is having problems in finding the right number of volunteers for the study. All in all they need 72 volunteers but to date they have only had ten people coming forward.
At Ukmedix News we suggest that they advertise the fact that free Viagra will be on offer and they should have a steady supply of men coming forward but in fact this is part of the problem. It appears that wives and girlfriends of the stroke sufferers are worried about the other ‘inappropriate’ effects that the Viagra drug might have in their men and this seems to be stopping the men coming forward.
Very often a man who has had a stroke is incapacitated and thus the last thing he needs is a strong sex drive as this could be irritating, as while he may have an erection he might not have the physical ability to have sex. A strong sex drive in an old man in wheelchair can be embarrassing for everyone concerned and this is why the study authors feel that the number of volunteers for this survey has been low.
Viagra has been noted to boost the memory of animals in testing and their memory is something that stroke sufferers often lose. Ukmedix News will be following the results of the research and will let you know how it gets on.
