Herbal Dangers On The Increase

27 April 2007 (Friday)

Something that we have suspected all the time at Ukmedix News has been confirmed recently. In our discussions in the newsroom we knew that the manufacturers of herbal erectile dysfunction medications were deliberately targeting men who had heart problems and therefore were not supposed to take medicines like Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. This makes complete sense, and despite the fact that most herbal medicines [if not all] are absolutely of no physical use they do have a significant placebo effect that can help to relax a man and make him more confident about his sexual function.

What was worrying us was that the manufacturers of these so called herbal medications who had deliberately put sildenafil, [the active ingredient of Viagra], in the product were also deliberately targeting men who for health reasons could not use the Viagra product. Apart from being criminally irresponsible, the manufacturers and marketers of these illegal products are morally reprehensible. To deliberately target people who have been told by their doctors not to use Viagra and to disguise Viagra in herbal product to dupe them into taking it could, and probably has caused the deaths of users.

Recently in Australia the health authorities there have issued notices to the effect that two so-called natural medicines for sexual function must be immediately be recalled and anyone using and them must stop doing so straightaway.  The products in question are called Excite for Women and Ultimates for Men and they both contain the key Viagra ingredient, sildenafil.

The adverts for the products say that they are a mixture of South American and Chinese herbs that will boost sexual performance in a natural way.  The criminal promoters of this medicine even put an obviously fake testimonial on the packaging that said was from a man who claimed that his doctor wouldn’t let him take Viagra because it was bad for his heart but told him to try this amazing new herbal erectile dysfunction product.

From speaking to people in the UK they have so much trust in the authorities here that they cannot believe that a herbal product found in a shop in the UK could possibly contain anything other than it said it did however the illegal manufacturers of these products are getting more and more skilled at avoiding medical testing and duping the authorities into allowing the import of their illegal products.

At Ukmedix news we can only warn you to be extremely careful before you try any erectile dysfunction product that is not prescribed to you by a doctor.
