Novo Santo Antonio Is A Happy Viagra Town

06 December 2006 (Wednesday)

In the South American country of Brasil one man is looking at how to deal with the woes of the elderly population very differently to most people. Senor Joao de Souza Luz who is the mayor of a small Brasilian town called Novo Santo Antonio in the state of Mato Grosso has been handing out free Viagra tablets to old men and their wives.

His idea is to make the old people in his town happier and less gloomy as they approach the end of their lives. The program seems to have been a success with almost seventy men signing up for it and more joining everyday.

The rules say that you must be over the age of sixty to sign up and after an unforeseen glitch of men seeking out women other than their wives (and angry women giving the mayor an earful), it has been decided that the Viagra will be distributed directly to wives and not to the men themselves. In this way the women will be reassured that the men will not be using the Viagra to cheat on them and they can give the men the pills when they feel like having sex.

Senor Joao de Souza Luz noted that since the distribution of the Viagra the old people, both men and women seem to be much happier than they were and this is having a positive effect on the whole of the village. The program has been given the risqué name “Pinto Alegre” that means Happy Penis and was fully endorsed by the lawmakers of Novo Santo Antonio.

Viagra is often used by older men whose sexual function has waned with age and who are thus unable to get an erection. It is important that you get a prescription for Viagra before using it and Ukmedix hopes that the mayor of Nova Santo Antonio is making sure that the elderly men on the Pinto Allegre Program have spoken to a doctor first.
