Pfizer Being Sued By Viagra User
The huge drug company Pfizer has recently been made the subject of a multi million dollar lawsuit after a man in Denver said that he had suffered from a problem in one of his eyes after using the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra. The man claims that he was not given sufficient warning that in extremely rare cases the Viagra drug can cause some men to suffer from ocular and vision problems.
While there have been some reports that all the three erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra in extremely rare cases can cause blurry vision and vision loss, there his absolutely no proof of this. In response to the reports Pfizer decided to put a warning on Viagra labeling informing potential customers of the reports. Mr. Parker who filed the lawsuit said that Pfizer should have been more thorough with its warning.
At Ukmedix News we believe that while there may be some small iota of truth in the connection between vision loss and the use of Viagra it appears that only people who had existing vision problems have been affected and it is important to point out that people who have had eye problems connected to blood flow may well have just suffered more vision loss coincidentally which was nothing to do with the taking of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra.
Despite millions of men using Viagra all over the world the number of reported cases of vision loss is minuscule and almost statistically irrelevant. While the jury is still deliberating on the possible connection between the use of Viagra and vision loss at Ukmedix News we feel that you have nothing to worry about. Nevertheless should you have a history of vision loss you should mention this to your doctor just to stay on the safe side.
The Viagra medicine is the best selling erectile dysfunction drug in the world and has been on the market for almost ten years now.
