Richard And Judy Viagra Chat Show

30 January 2007 (Tuesday)

For those of your who watch Richard and Judy on morning TV in the UK you may know that recently Richard Madeley was discussing the fact that he used the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra with his wife Judy.

He came out with the statement much to the shame of his wife who was attempting to get him to change the subject and not talk about his Viagra use. Richard said that he didn’t need the drug and didn’t buy it but just that it was left by someone who had come to talk about erectile dysfunction and the drugs that can cure it on the show and he thought rather than just throw it away he should experiment with it.

He even admitted that Judy took the drug too, which caused her to go red immediately on live TV, as the drug really is not for women. Clinical testing shows that it doesn’t really work for them except by possibly creating a placebo effect in these women who think that it does work for females.

At Ukmedix we would just like to point out that what Richard and Judy did was irresponsible and dangerous as not only did they use a prescription drug without consulting a doctor but they also admitted to the illegal use of Viagra on air and were very casual about it which could give out the wrong message about how Viagra should be used.

At Ukmedix we always say that Viagra is a serious medicine for a serious condition and should not be taken flippantly and casually without a prescription. The fact that Judy used it is pretty stupid too, as it is not properly tested or licenced for women.

Richard seemed to be very eager to point out that he had no impotence problem but just that he was curious to know if the Viagra had any effect on his sexual stamina. Everyone reckons that he got an earful from Judy after the show.
