Smuggling Viagra

04 September 2006 (Monday)

Viagra is fast becoming a commodity for smugglers Ukmedix has learnt. Recent reports in the Ukmedix newsroom show that Bulgarian customs officers recently caught smugglers with a haul of 800 Viagra tablets at one of Bulgaria's border checkpoints. The drug is extremely easy to sell on the black market and commands a higher price per tablet than in a pharmacy. The black market trade is popular as men do not need to prove they have erectile dysfunction to a doctor before getting their hands on it.

The 800 Viagra pills were estimated to be worth about 26000 Bulgarian Levas which is about 9,000 pounds sterling but they may have sold for far more on the black market. Viagra also sells for different prices in different countries so there can be an advantage in moving the drugs across borders however very often the black market Viagra is in fact stolen from pharmacies and supply depots. Viagra is probably the most stolen drug in the world as it is easy to sell on the street.

Viagra has become a worldwide phenomenon with the word Viagra becomeing a household name in almost all the world. While the drug is supposedly available for men who have serious problems maintaining erections in fact it is often used by young men to improve their sexual performance. Nevertheless the drug should only be used with care as it can cause low blood pressure and also react badly with nitrates that some people use for heart conditions. If you have low blood pressure you should not use Viagra or in fact any other PDE-5 inhibiting erectile dysfunction medication.

The dangers of buying black market Viagra can not be underestimated as often the drugs sold are not actually Viagra and you have no real idea of what you are buying.
