Viagra Given To Dog
This is a weird story but then again at Ukmedix news we like to report on Viagra news no matter how crazy or strange it seems. Apparently a dog in a far flung part of China called Chengdu in the Sichuan Province was given by a Viagra tablet in order to help it mate with three dogs in one day. According to the news reports the Viagra did have some effect but it ended up with the dog collapsing and having to immediately go to a vet.
The reason the owner of the dog wanted to give it some Viagra was due to financial reasons as the dog was in much demand as a stud dog as it was a very good looking well bread canine. The owner said that he could earn almost ₤100 for each successful sexual encounter and he was keen to boost his earnings by getting his dog to mate with three bitches a day.
Viagra has not been clinically tested in dogs or in fact with any animals. From time to time we get stories at Ukmedix news about animal owners trying to give their animals Viagra or other erectile dysfunction drugs and normally there is a financial motive involved.
At Ukmedix News we deplore this action as not only is it very dangerous to the health of the animals but it is often cruel as we have seen in the case of this dog in China. If you feel that your dog or other animal has any sexual function issues the thing for you to do is to take it to the vet. Overweight dogs like overweight humans are more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction and therefore one thing that you could do to help your dog is to feed it less and get it to go on long walks for exercise.
